In most jurisdictions, landlords are required to provide written notice to tenants before entering the rental unit to make repairs, do inspections, or show the unit to prospective renters. This form fulfills the criteria set forth by law in most jurisdictions for property entrance notification. In California, the Landlord must give at least 24 hours written notice of entry, and must enter during daytime hours, unless it is an emergency.
